EFFECTIVE AUGUST 17, 2009, AN APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PASSPORT, CONSULAR REPORT OF BIRTH ABROAD, AND NOTARIAL SERVICES.
We see applicants for passports, consular reports of birth abroad (CRBA) and notarial services by appointment only. We are closed on both Canadian/U.S. holidays and weekends. Entry for all consular services is at 225 Simcoe Street at the rear of our building, NOT at 360 University Avenue.

All visitors and their personal items must undergo a comprehensive security screening via walk-through and hand-held metal detectors prior to entry. Visitors refusing security screening are prohibited from entry. Please do not bring the following prohibited items to the consulate as there is no storage in or outside of the building:
- Cell phones;
- Food, liquids and beverages, other than for babies and small children;
- Luggage larger than a purse or briefcase;
- Weapons, sharp objects or tools of any kind;
- Electronic, battery operated or recording equipment of any kind to include laptops, tape/CD/MP3 players, pagers, keyless remotes, etc.;
- Oversized strollers.
