    New York Governor Andrew Cuomo wants people to be in an Empire State of mind. In a full court press to grow the tourism industry of his state, he’s behind New York’s largest tourism campaign in decades.

    Consul General Visits Hamilton

    Hamilton first piqued Jim Dickmeyer’s attention the day before last year’s Grey Cup. The recently arrived U.S. Consul General to Toronto was at a pre-game event and happened to meet the owner of the CFL team from Hamilton, the Tiger Cats, Bob Young. Since that meeting CG Dickmeyer has been learning more about Steeltown as it’s commonly called.

    Strong U.S. Showing at SIAL Canada

    This year’s SIAL Canada was the first time that all the businesses under the U.S. Pavilion were small businesses with 500 or less employees. SIAL is the world’s number one food exhibition network and the exhibition took place in Toronto at the Direct Energy Centre from April 30th to May 2nd.
